That's some bad breath you have Fido

Some pet parents seem to believe that their dogs have “magically clean” mouths, despite being outside eating dirt, grass or bugs, or sniffing the butt of the dog next door. Unfortunately, all dogs have a great deal of bacteria in their mouth.

The majority of this bacteria is very species specific and does not lead to disease transmission in humans. However, in order to be on the safe side, it is best to always keep your dog up to date with vaccines and de-worming.

The bacteria in your dog’s mouth also leads to the accumulation of tartar and plaque, which can cause serious periodontal disease in your canine friend.

Bark Butter will be releasing a new Toothpaste soon, so stay tuned.
